According to the
2006 GMAC Insurance National Drivers Test one in eleven drivers would fail their state licensing exam (
Northeast still has dumbest drivers). I was disappointed, but not surprised to learn that drivers in Washington D.C., and Maryland ranked among the worst five (
State driver test rankings). I've noticed that most drivers here apparently believe everyone is telepathic--that's why they don't need to use their turn signals. It's just too much work to have to move that little lever up or down.
