Yipee! Today Team Canada won their third consecutive gold medal of the World Junior Hockey Championship. Canada defeated Russia 4-2 in Canada's sixth consecutive appearance in the championship game. This year's tournament was held in Leksand, Sweden. To reach the final, Canada defeated the United States 2-1 in a semifinal shoot-out (5-4). In the bronze-medal game, the United States defeated hosts Sweden 2-1.
